WHO WE ARE
Dane Cohen
BScPsych, MBusPsych
Director, Registered Psychologist & Specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner
I am a compassionate and relationship focused Behaviour Support Practitioner with a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Newcastle and a Master’s in Business Psychology. I bring over a decade of experience supporting children and adolescents across residential care, foster care, and the NDIS, with a focus on trauma and behaviour support.
My approach is rooted in relational practice and informed by a blend of therapeutic frameworks, including cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based practice, and trauma-informed care. I strive to develop practical, person-centred behaviour support plans that reflect the unique strengths and goals of each individual I work with.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my two young kids; whether it’s gardening, surfing, or looking after my beehive. Exploring nature and new places with my family brings me balance and inspiration, fuelling both my personal life and professional practice.

Team leader, Provisional Psychologist & Behaviour Support Practitioner
I’m a creative and people-focused Behaviour Support Practitioner and Provisional Psychologist, currently completing my Master of Clinical Psychology at Griffith University. I made the transition into mental health after over a decade in the music industry, where I developed a deep curiosity about people and the challenges they face.
Since graduating with my Psychology Honours in 2021, I’ve worked within the NDIS, supporting individuals with complex needs and helping them thrive through tailored, evidence-based behaviour support. My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a belief that meaningful change comes from understanding each person’s unique story.
Outside of work, I’m a proud dad, husband, and dog owner. I enjoy spending time with my family, getting outdoors, mixing and mastering music, reading, and hitting the gym. I’m also passionate about giving back, serving as a volunteer firefighter with the NSW RFS and a board member for Human Nature—a youth mental health non-profit based in the Northern Rivers. These experiences continue to shape my commitment to building stronger, more supportive communities.

Behaviour Support Practitioner
I am a passionate and person-centred Behaviour Support Practitioner with a Bachelor of Psychological Science from Griffith University. With years of experience as a disability support worker and time spent in a special education unit within a high school setting, I bring a wealth of practical knowledge and a compassionate approach to my work.
Prior to working in the disability and education space, I spent several years in the hospitality and marketing industries. These early experiences, along with extensive travel, shaped my appreciation for diverse perspectives and taught me the value of clear communication, adaptability, and connection; qualities I now bring into my behaviour support practice.
Known for being friendly, creative, and solutions focused, I strive to tailor support plans that empower individuals and help them achieve meaningful outcomes. My practice is rooted in building strong, trusting relationships and fostering environments where everyone can thrive.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mother of two young children. I enjoy upcycling furniture, thrifting for hidden gems, reading, gardening, and cooking. I’ll happily partake in any activities that fuel my creativity and inspire my work.

I’m a Behaviour Support Practitioner with over a decade of experience as an Inclusive Education Teacher, bringing a compassionate and practical approach to supporting individuals and families. My background in education has given me valuable insight into behaviour support, particularly for children and young people, and I’m passionate about creating tailored, strengths-based plans that promote growth and meaningful outcomes.
My practice is grounded in evidence-based strategies and always centred around the unique needs and goals of each participant. I believe in working collaboratively to foster supportive environments where people can feel safe, heard, and empowered to thrive.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to three daughters and enjoy spending my time reading, travelling, and trying new things. This year, I’ve stepped outside my comfort zone by joining a soccer team for the first time. Whether it’s through exploring new places, getting lost in a good book, or learning a new skill, I value opportunities that spark growth, curiosity, and joy—both in my personal life and in the work I do.
